Dr. Langdon Fielding,

Dr.
Fielding grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and obtained his veterinary
degree from the University of California, Davis. Following graduation,
he did an internship at Texas A&M University focusing on large animal
medicine and surgery. At the end of his internship, he returned to California
and began practicing at Loomis Basin Veterinary Center.
Langdon works primarily in the hospital, but he occasionally ventures
out in an ambulatory vehicle . His primary interest is in emergency medicine,
and he works along with Dr. Higgins on the cases that are housed at the
clinic. Dr. Fielding completed a strenuous course of additional training
and testing and was admitted to the American College of Veterinary Emergency/Critical
Care
Dr. Catherine
Jacobs, DVM
Dr
Catherine Jacobs comes originally from the East Coast, and received her
undergraduate degree at Hamilton college in upstate New York. She then
moved West, and attended the School of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis,
graduating in 2002. Prior to joining LBVC, Dr Jacobs worked at an equine
practice in Galt. Dr Jacobs is married and lives in Folsom. In her free
time she enjoys riding and showing her hunter/jumper.
Dr Jacobs has completed an exhaustive, hands-on course in veterinary
accupuncture provided by the International Veterinary Accupucture Society.
The course combined the theory and philosophy of this treatment modality
with guided clinical work with horses. Accupuncture treatments or consultations
with Dr. Jacobs are scheduled through the clinic's front office.
Dr. Jill Higgins,
DVM
Jill Higgins is a 2003 graduate of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
After graduation, she completed a year long internship at the Arizona
Equine Medical and Surgical Center in Gilbert, Az. She joined Loomis Basin
Equine Medical Center in 2004. Her interests include diagnostic ultrasound,
internal medicine, emergency medicine, research on infectious diseases,
as well as spending the day out in the truck doing ambulatory medicine.
She grew up in the small town of Chester, Ca and now lives part time in
Davis and part time here in Loomis with her husband, Nicola, who is also
an equine veterinarian and their one year old son, Lucas, who is a future
equine veterinarian!
Dr. Bob Morgan,
DVM
Dr.
Bob Morgan is a 1980 graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at
U.C. Davis. His undergraduate degree came from the University of Illinois.
Dr. Morgan joined the Loomis Basin mixed practice in 1980 and then spun
off the large animal practice with Dr. Greg Fellers in 1990. Dr. Morgan
and his wife, Cindy, reside in Lincoln where she operates an equine breeding
and training facility with the help of their daughters Alison and Erica.
Bob spends the bulk of his late winter and spring practice days involved
with equine reproduction which is especially rewarding when the next years
foals begin to arrive.
Dr.
Anne Hitchcock, DVM
Dr.
Anne Hitchcock joined our staff in early August, 2006. She grew up in
San Diego and is a 2004 graduate of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
Following graduation, she completed a one year internship at Rood and
Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, KY followed by a year-long ambulatory
internship at the Ohio State University, School of Veterinary Medicine.
Her interests include equine ambulatory practice as well as equine emergency
medicine. Dr. Hitchcock will be filling some ambulatory days, and will
also be teaming with Dr. Fielding and Dr. Higgins in supporting the emergency
and critical care program.
Molly Dinucci, DVM
Dr.
Molly Dinucci grew up in Novato, CA, a small town in northern Marin County.
She attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo as an undergraduate and received
her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in June 2002. A year later,
she was accepted to the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary
Medicine. She graduated from veterinary school in June 2007. Molly’s
interests include equine ambulatory practice, lameness, and internal medicine.
Molly was recently married in August 2007 to one of her classmates in
veterinary school. Her husband also pursued his career in equine medicine,
and he now works for Sierra Equine in Grass Valley. Molly is a lover of
the outdoors and enjoys spending her free time running and hiking with
her dogs, as well as snowboarding and camping.
Dr. Olivia Inoue, DVM,
Diplomate ACVS
Dr.
Olivia Inoue completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at University
of Illinois in 1993. Thereafter, she completed an internship and her residency
at the University of Illinois. After her residency, she practiced at Equine
Services in Simpsonville, Kentucky, which focused on equine surgery and
medicine. Dr. Inoue had been a staff surgeon at The Equine Center since
2001 when she became board certified. She currently is a bicoastal resident.
Every two weeks, Dr. Inoue travels from her home in South Carolina to
practice in California. Her interests lie in neonatal medicine and surgery,
soft tissue surgery, lameness, and comprehensive health and wellness.
Dr. Inoue’s extracurricular activities involve scuba diving, rock
climbing, cultivating her orchids, raising African cichlids (fish), and
spending time with her husband, Dave who is also a veterinarian.
Dr. Jason Errico, DVM,
Diplomate ACVS
Dr.
Errico is a California native who received his undergraduate degree from
Princeton University and attended veterinary school at UC Davis. He completed
an equine internship at Littleton Large Animal Clinic in Colorado, a large
animal fellowship at Oregon State University, and an Equine Surgery residency
at the University of Florida. His primary surgical interests are upper
airway, gastrointestinal, orthopedic and treatment of neoplasia. He is
also experienced in surgery on New World camelids.
Dr. Andi Foster
Dr.
Andi Foster grew up in sunny Ventura County of Southern California. In
2001 she received her BS in Animal Science and Management from the University
of California Davis. She graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary
Medicine in 2008 with an emphasis in equine medicine. While in veterinary
school, she enjoyed international volunteer veterinary work in Central
America working mainly with small animals. She was also a member of the
Veterinary Emergency Response Team where she was afforded the opportunity
to work in the field of large animal disaster response.
Andi joined Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center in July 2008 as a veterinary
intern. In addition to her interest in volunteer work, she also enjoys
preventative and internal medicine and ambulatory service. Upon completion
of the internship, Andi plans to work as an ambulatory equine practitioner
with the goal of doing at least one international volunteer trip each
year.
Dr. Greg E. Fellers,
DVM
Dr.
Greg Fellers, DVM, 1972 UC Davis graduate is one of the founding partners
of Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic in 1975. In 1990, Loomis Basin Equine
Medical Center formed as a separate practice under the direction of Dr.
Fellers and Dr. Robert Morgan.
Dr. Fellers retired from active veterinary medicine in 2003 to build
his dream – Loomis Basin’s Large Animal Hospital, which is
now completed. Greg fully retired in August, 2007, but he continues to
consult on facilities and practice management for LBEMC. He remains active
in equine veterinary medicine, acting as ride veterinarian for Trail Riding
and Endurance competitions and the Head Veterinarian for the Tevis Cup
endurance ride.
He and his wife, Kathy, have been married for 35 years and have two sons,
Cory and Brad, who both reside in Southern California. Greg enjoys reading,
camping, running and competing in Ride and Tie in his spare time. He also
continues to be active in community and church work.

Dr. Nick Faber, DVM,
Diplomate ACVO Dr.
Faber graduated from veterinary school at Purdue University in 1992, and
then completed a large animal medicine and surgery internship at Texas
A&M. He came to UC Davis for a residency in large animal medicine,
and completed a second residency in ophthalmology in 1999. He is board
certified as a Diplomate of ACVO (American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists).
Nick grew up in Wisconsin with an interest in showing horses, first Quarter
Horses and then Paso Finos while in college. He looks forward to a continued
relationship with horses as he develops his practice in veterinary ophthalmology
in this part of California.
Dr. Andrea Cannon,
DVM, Diplomate ACVD
Dr.
Cannon is a 1993 graduate of UC Davis. She interned at the Animal Emergency
Clinic in San Diego, California and completed her residency in Dermatology
at UC Davis. Dr. Cannon was a clinical instructor at UC Davis Dermatology
from 1996-1997. She has owned Animal Dermatology & Allergy in Roseville,
California; Modesto, California; and Boise, Idaho; since 1997.
